The LPMA is a not for profit organizationcomposed of podiatrists who are licensed in the state of Louisiana and are members of the American Podiatric Medical Association.  We are the official state component society of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Our Mission

1. To promote the art and science of podiatric medicine and the betterment of public health within the state of Louisiana.
2. To further establish to the public, other health professionals, third party payers, and legislators the identity of the podiatric physician as the expert in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
3. To ensure that it's members will be able to continue to provide quality medical care to the public within the confines of state licensure and all governing regulatory bodies.
4. To provide leadership and a forum for dialogue with health care professionals involved in the health care delivery system.
5. To unite with similar state podiatric medical associations in the formation of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
6. To promote fellowship and goodwill among Louisiana member podiatrists who share in the challenges of podiatric practice.
